During a special media preview, we were serenaded by Adilla while savouring starters such as Tomato Mozarella Salad, Szechuan Chicken with Mango Salad, Chicken and Seafood Terrine Platter as well as Cream of Chicken Chowder.

Diners will find sumptuous treats on the main course with dishes such as Lamb Shoulder with Green Pepper Corn Sauce, Fossy Egg Prawns, Mussel Au Gratine as well as Seafood Vol-au-Vent.

The dessert spread includes Chocolate Banana Cake, Strawberry Peach Yogurt, Tiramisu in Glass, Colourful Macaroons and Mango Pudding Mini Cupcakes.

Hafiz said the Moroccan Ouzi Rice, grilled lamb chop as well as the all-time favourite, tempura, were must-try items.

“Most Malaysians may not have had the opportunity to taste this Moroccan rice dish.

“To suit the local palate, we have made some adjustments to the recipe,” added Hafiz.

Rathakrishnan’s rojak buah Penang and the Ox-Tail Asam Pedas are full of flavour and popular with diners.

The ox-tail has a thick broth and plenty of bunga kantan (ginger flower) to enhance the flavour of the meat.

Another must-try is ayam percik.

“The chicken is marinated for one day withlengkuas, serai and coriander leaves, among other ingredients,” he said.

The chicken is then grilled while the sauce is made from the leftover marinade with additional ingredients, including tamarind thrown in.

Both chefs said they did no believe in taking shortcuts when preparing the dishes and observed traditional methods of cooking to ensure the authenticity in taste.

The dessert menu includes pulut serawa durian – a coveted sweet from the East Coast – as well as an assortment of other Malay kuih and sweet porridges.

The Mothers Day promotion is priced at RM69++ for adults, RM34.50 for children and RM55++ for senior citizens and will be held from noon to 4pm.

All prices are not inclusive of 6% GST. Reservations encouraged.
