Recipe Ingredient

  • 150g mock meat, cubed
  • Some corn flour
  • 8 pieces canned pineapple, well drained
  • 1/2 a green capsicum
  • 1/2 a red capsicum, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 a tomato
  • 1/2 an onion
  • Gravy ingredients
  • 1 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp castor sugar
  • 1 tsp light soy sauce
  • 2-3 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Toss mock meat in corn flour and deep-fry in hot oil until golden and crispy. Drain off excess oil.
  2. Combine gravy ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add green and red capsicum, tomato, onion and pineapple cubes. Stir-fry well. Return mock meat pieces to the gravy and bring to a quick rolling boil. Dish out and serve immediately.
