Recipe Ingredient
- 100g boned chicken meat, minced
- Seasoning:
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 1/2 tsp chopped ginger
- 1 1/2 tbsp hot soya bean paste
- Sauce:
- 350ml water
- 1 tsp chicken stock granules
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 pieces soft taufu, cubed
- Thickening (combined):
- 2 tsp cornflour
- 1 tbsp water
- Garnishing:
- Chopped spring onions
- Yin sai chilli strips
Instructions
- Combine chicken meat with seasoning. Heat oil in a kuali and fry garlic and ginger till fragrant. Add hot bean paste and stir-fry for an extra minute.
- Stir in minced chicken and add in sauce ingredients. Simmer for five to six minutes. Add taufu and continue to cook until mixture turns bubbly. Thicken with cornflour mixture.
- Dish up and serve with garnishing.
