Recipe Ingredient
- 1 box silken tofu
- 5 shelled small prawns
- 2 dried Chinese mushrooms, soaked and sliced
- 1 tbsp diced carrot
- Seasoning:
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp chicken stock powder
- 3 tbsp water
- Garnish:
- A splash of Shao Hsing Hua Tiau wine
- 1 tbsp diced red chilli
- Some fried shallot crisps
Instructions
- Remove silken tofu from the box and place onto a serving dish.
- Spread the prawns, carrot and mushrooms over.
- Combine seasoning ingredients in a small bowl. Gradually drip the seasoning over the tofu. Place the plate of tofu over a steamer. Steam for 7-8 minutes or until the tofu is well done.
- Remove and add garnishing. Serve .
