Recipe Ingredient
- 1/2 a chicken, skinned and chopped into chunky pieces.
- 50g white fungus (shuet yee)
- 10g sweet and bitter almond mixture
- 12-15 pieces gingko nuts
- 1.5 litres hot water
- Seasoning:
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 1/2 tsp sugar or to taste
Instructions
- Soak snow fungus in warm water for 30 minutes then trim off the stems and rinse well. Drain and set aside.
- Combine all ingredients into a double-boiler. Double-boil for 1½ - 2 hours. Add seasoning to taste then dish out and serve immediately.
