Recipe Ingredient
- 100ml vinegar
- 6 fresh red chillies, seeded and finely blended
- 2 tbsp plum sauce
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt or to taste
- 4 tbsp toasted peanuts or cashew nuts, finely pounded
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Put vinegar in a saucepan. Bring to a simmering low boil on gentle heat. When it begins to boil, add chillies, plum sauce, sugar and salt. Stir well and allow to simmer until the sauce turns slightly thicker.
- Remove from the heat. Stir in peanuts or cashew nuts and sesame seeds. Serve when cooled.
