- Basic Syrup:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 pandan leaves - knotted
Instructions
- Place sugar, water and pandan leaves in a deep saucepan.
- Bring to the boil, lower heat and simmer until sugar is dissolved.
- Remove pandan leaves and strain the syrup.
- Leave to cool for use as a basic syrup.
- You can store the basic syrup in a bottle in the refrigerator.
