Recipe Ingredient
- 350g spareribs
- 4pickled sour plums, seeded
- 1tbsp young ginger shreds
- 1tsp chopped garlic
- 1tbsp chopped red chilli
- Seasoning (B)
- 1tsp light soy sauce
- 1tsp oyster sauce
- 1tbsp preserved bean paste (tau cheong)
- 1tsp shallot oil
- 1/2tsp sesame oil
- 1tsp sugar
- 1/2tsp pepper
- 1tsp Shao Hsing Hua Tiau wine
- 1-2tbsp water
- 1tsp cornflour
Instructions
- Chop spareribs into bite-sized pieces. Mash pickled sour plums and chop coarsely. Combine spareribs with sour plums, ginger shreds, garlic and chilli.
- Add seasoning (B) to mix. Arrange marinated spareribs in a heatproof deep dish. Steam over high heat for 20-25 minutes or until meat is tender. Serve hot.
