Recipe Ingredient
- pork cutlets
- Marinade:
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp Chinese Five Spice powder
- Dash of pepper
- 1½-2 tbsp oil
Instructions
- Combine marinade ingredients together in a small bowl. Place pork cutlets in a tray with the skin side up.
- Rub the skin side with the marinade, then turn over to the meat part and rub with the remaining mixture.
- Place a wire rack on a baking dish and lightly grease the rack with oil. Place the marinated pork cutlets on the wire rack and roast in a preheated oven at 240-250°C for about 30-35 minutes or until the skin of the pork cutlets has turned golden.
- Reduce the temperature to 180°C and continue to roast the pork.
- Bring out the pork cutlets and cover loosely with a piece of aluminium foil, then continue to roast at a reduced temperature of 180°C for about 50-60 minutes or until the meat is cooked through.
- Chop the pork rack cutlets into individual cutlet pieces and serve immediately.
