Recipe Ingredient
- 500g boneless pork
- 2-3 tbsp margarine
- 1 onion, sliced
- Marinade:
- 2 tbsp coriander powder
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground fenugreek
- 1 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp ginger powder
- 1 tbsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp mustard powder
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- Salt to taste
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions
- To make marinade, combine all spices with vinegar and a little water. Rub well into the meat.
- Marinate meat for at least several hours, preferably overnight.
- Fry onion in margarine for two to three minutes. Stir in meat and bring to a boil. Add bay leaf. Simmer for 40 to 45 minutes until the liquid becomes a thick and rich sauce. Add salt to taste.
