Recipe Ingredient
- 400g lean pork, cut into slices
- Seasoning (A)
- 1 cube preserved beancurd (lam yee), mashed with a spoon
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp Shao Hsing Hua Tiau wine
- Marinade (B)
- 1 tsp light soy sauce
- 1 tsp Chinese five spice powder
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 1 tsp custard powder
- 50ml water
Instructions
- Marinade pork with seasoning (A) for 30 minutes.
- Combined marinade (B) well together in a mixing bowl. Add seasoned pork slices. Marinate for at least 3-4 hours.
- Heat oil in a wok until hot and deep-fry pork slices over medium heat until golden brown and fragrant. Dish out and serve immediately.
