Recipe Ingredient
- 3 pieces (190g each) pork loin chops
- 1½-2 tbsp castor sugar
- Pinch of salt
- Dash of pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Baby salad leaves
- Balsamic dressing
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp mustard
Instructions
- Clean pork, then pat-dry with paper kitchen towels. Rub both sides of pork with sugar, salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in nonstick frying pan. Cook pork slices over medium-high heat for 1 minute each side or until golden and caramelised. Reduce heat and cook for 2-3 minutes each side or until cooked through.
- Transfer pork to a serving plate and leave for 5-6 minutes. Serve with dressing.
- To prepare balsamic dressing: Combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar and mustard in a screw-top jar. Add a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper.
- Then secure the lid and shake to mix.
