Recipe Ingredient
- 3 pieces pork chops, 150g each
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp ground black pepper
- Marinade (A)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Pinch of bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp beaten egg
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 1 tsp Shao Hsing Hua Tiau wine
- Sauce (B)
- 1 tbsp H.P. sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt or to taste
- 4 tbsp water
Instructions
- Use a meat mallet to lightly mash the meat on both sides. Season meat with marinade (A) for at least an hour.
- Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a non-stick saucepan. Pan-fry meat on both sides until golden brown and cooked. Dish out.
- Melt butter in a clean saucepan. Fry ground black pepper until aromatic then add sauce (B) and sprinkle in ground black pepper. Sauté until gravy is reduced.
- Put in the pork chops. Toss until chops are well mixed with the sauce.
- Dish out and serve at once.
