Recipe Ingredient
- 600g spare-ribs
- 1 cup water
- Marinade
- 1/3 cup plum sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- A good dash of pepper
- 1 tbsp light soya sauce
Instructions
- Clean and scald spare-ribs in boiling water for 30 seconds. Drain in a colander.
- Combine marinade ingredients in bowl then add ribs. Mix well and set aside for several hours or preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
- Arrange ribs on a greased aluminium foil. Wrap up and put the packet on a roasting rack, placed over a baking dish. Pour water into the baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 50-60 minutes. Occasionally, take the packet out of the oven and baste the ribs until they are cooked. Serve immediately.
