Recipe Ingredient
- (A):
- 200g glutinous rice flour
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 150g pumpkin paste
- a pinch of salt
- Marinade for chicken
- 1 tsp seasoning
- 1 1/2 tsp oil
- 1 tsp cornflour
- Seasoning:
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- a dash of white pepper
- 1 tsp cornflour
- 2 tsp water
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp chicken stock granules
- 1 tbsp oil
- Filling:
- 120g chicken meat
- 80g Chinese black mushrooms
- 1 tbsp carrot
- 2 tsp coriander roots
- 1 water chestnut
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
Instructions
- Dice chicken and black mushrooms. Chop finely the carrot, coriander roots and water chestnut.
- Marinate the chicken meat for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in wok and stir-fry garlic until fragrant. Then add the ingredients for the filling and seasoning and fry well. Dish up and allow to cool.
- Mix well ingredients (A) to form a dough. Divide into small portions. Wrap the portion with filling. Shape the portion to look like a pumpkinand use a small knife to make the lines. Steam for eight to 10 minutes.
