Recipe Ingredient
- 1 bowl oats (preferably Quaker oats)
- 1l water
- 50g chicken fillet, sliced
- 50g fish fillet, sliced
- Marinade (A) - for chicken
- 1/2 tbsp light soya sauce
- Dash of pepper
- 1/8 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- Marinade (B) - for fish
- Pinch of salt
- Dash of pepper
- A sprinkling of Shao Hsing Hua Tiau wine(optional)
- Seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp light soya sauce
- Garnishing
- Some chopped spring onion and coriander leaves
- Some chopped red chilli
Instructions
- Combine oats and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
- Season chicken with marinade (A) and fish with marinade (B). Set aside for 10 minutes.
- Once the oats come to a boil, reduce the heat and add in the marinated chicken and fish.
- Cook at a simmering boil until meat is cooked. Season to taste.
- Dish out and serve piping hot with garnishing.
