Recipe Ingredient
- 4 lamb cutlets, approx 300-350g
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Combined:
- 1¾ tbsp light soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, finely crushed
- 40g plain flour
- Combined:
- 1 tbsp UHT milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- Mixed well:
- 100g breadcrumbs
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Trim off any excess fat from cutlets and pound lightly with a mallet to flatten.
- Marinate cutlets with soya sauce and garlic mixture for 1-1½ hours then coat marinated cutlets in plain flour. Next, dip in the egg and milk mixture then toss in the breadcrumbs mixture.
- Grease a round shallow baking tin with olive oil and arrange cutlets in the tin.
- Bake in turbo broiler on 180°C for 15 minutes on each side or until cutlets are golden brown and the meat is tender.
