Recipe Ingredient
- Dough:
- 190g plain flour
- 20g cornstarch
- 20g Bird's custard powder
- 45g icing sugar
- 1/4tsp salt
- 15g unsweetened soy powder
- 100g cooking coconut oil
- 60g Naturel Lite margarine
- 200g of pineapple jam
- 'Egg' Wash:
- 30g Naturel Lite margarine
- 30g maltose
- some poppy seeds for deco (optional)
Instructions
- Divide the pineapple jam to 5-6g each and set aside in the fridge
- Meanwhile, combine all dry ingredients before adding the margarine and oil
- Once formed dough, divide to 15g each and fill with the jam
- Make the glaze by gently heating up the margarine and maltose till combined
- Glaze the spheres and bake at 160-170 deg C for 20-23 minutes. Make sure to check the bottom. And the poppy seed deco is optional!
- Tips: Don't be surprised when you see cracks on the cookies, they will subside once it cools
