Recipe Ingredient
- 2 kg crabs
- 3 cm knob ginger shredded
- 2 tbsp chopped shallots
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 5 bird’s eye chillies,chopped
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 small egg lightly beaten
- 200 ml water
- Sauce ingredients
- ½ tsp salt or to taste
- 8 tbsp tomato sauce
- 5 tbsp chilli sauce
- 4 tbsp lime juice
- 2-3 tbsp sugar or to taste
- ½ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Clean crabs and cut into 4 pieces.
- Heat oil and sesame oil in a wok and sauté garlic, ginger, shallots and bird's eye chillies until fragrant.
- Add sauce ingredients and put in the crabs. Toss well. Pour in the water and cover the wok.
- When water boils, remove the cover and stir-fry until crabs are cooked.
- Add in beaten egg and toss until sauce is thick.
