Recipe Ingredient
- 10 pieces fresh scallops
- (A):
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp chicken stock
- 1 tsp Chinese wine
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 stalks spring onion, cut into 2cm lengths
Instructions
- Remove any dark veins from the scallops but leave the red roe attached.
- Combine (A) and marinate the scallops in the mixture. Cover with cling film wrap and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
- Put the scallops back into their shells. Arrange the scallops in shells on a bamboo steamer. Spread a piece of cut spring onion over the scallops. Steam them over rapid boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Remove and serve immediately.
