Recipe Ingredient
- 2 big crabs
- (A)
- 10g tong kwai slices, soaked for 30 minutes
- 1 tbsp kei chi
- 10g young ginger, sliced
- 3 tbsp water
- 1/2 cup Shao Hsing Hua Tiau wine
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Dash of pepper
Instructions
- Combine ingredients (A) in a small bowl. Put into a steamer and steam for 12-15 minutes.
- Transfer steamed herbs into a shallow casserole. Place crabs on the herbs and steam for 10 minutes. Pour Shao Hsing Hua Tiau wine over crabs and continue to steam for another 6-7 minutes.
- Add sesame oil and a dash of pepper. Remove the crabs and serve immediately.
