Recipe Ingredient
- 1 pineapple, skinned and cubed
- 15 pcs medium prawn
- wooden skewers
- olive oil
- Marinate
- 1 tbsp honey
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1 tbsp spring onion, chopped
- Garnish
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
Instructions
- Clean prawns but leave the tail.
- Mix prawns and pineapple with the marinate.
- Thread three prawns, alternating with pineapple on a skewer.
- Brush with olive oil, sprinkle evenly with chilli flakes.
- Then place the skewers on griddle and cook over medium-high heat.
- Two minutes on each side until prawns are cooked. Then serve.
- Note: be sure to soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling.
- Purchase pineapple that is heavy for its size.
