Recipe Ingredient
- 800g tilapia fillet, cut into thumb-size slices
- Marinade:
- White of 1 egg
- Sprig of coriander, finely chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- Pepper
- Cornstarch
- For batter:
- 300g flour
- 50g cornstarch
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 4 soup bowls cooking oil
Instructions
- Marinate fillet for about 20 minutes.
- Heat oil. Dip fillet into batter and deep-fry till golden brown.
