Recipe Ingredient

  • 800g tilapia fillet, cut into thumb-size slices
  • Marinade:
  • White of 1 egg
  • Sprig of coriander, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • Pepper
  • Cornstarch
  • For batter:
  • 300g flour
  • 50g cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 4 soup bowls cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate fillet for about 20 minutes.
  2. Heat oil. Dip fillet into batter and deep-fry till golden brown.
