- 400g escargot
- 30g butter
- 30g bacon
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp evaporated milk
- Seasoning
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- Topping
- 50g grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 slice cheddar cheese, grated
Instructions
- Blanch bacon for 20-30 seconds. Drain excess water and dice. Heat butter and saute the diced bacon and garlic till fragrant. Add evaporated milk, seasoning and a little water. Keep stirring until the mixture is smooth.
- Arrange escargots in a heat proof dish with the meat facing up. Place a little of the sautéed filling on the escargots. Sprinkle a little freshly cracked black pepper and top with a little of the grated cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Place the escargot in a preheated oven at 180°C. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese has melted.
