- Orange Cake:
- 200g ground almond
- 4g baking powder
- 2g salt
- 170g Anchor Unsalted Butter
- 150g sugar
- 200g eggs
- 10g vanilla
- 50g orange pulp
- Orange Icing Glaze:
- 50g orange pulp
- 200g icing sugar
- 15g lemon juice
- Orange Buttercream:
- 250g Anchor Unsalted Butter
- 30g icing sugar
- 50g orange pulp
- 50g Anchor Whipping Cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180
- In a mixing bowl, whip up Anchor Unsalted Butter and Sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla and make sure mix well.
- Add in the ground almonds, baking powder and salt, mix until not lumpy.
- Stir in the orange pulp and pour into a 9" cake ring lined with aluminium foil.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Set aside to cool.
- Mix all ingredients together and make sure no lumps.
- Pour onto cooled Orange Cake and spread into a thin layer.
- Orange Buttercream:
- In a mixing bowl, whip Anchor Unsalted Butter and Icing sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the orange pulp and Anchor Whipping Cream and mix well until no lumps are formed.
- Transfer into a piping bag with a flower piping nozzle.
