Fluffy Souffle Pancake – light, airy and fluffy souffle pancake made easy with Dr. Oetker Nona Pancake mix

Recipe Ingredient

  • Brownies Cookies
  • 1 box Dr. Oetker Nona Brownies Original
  • 2 Eggs (Large)
  • 150 ml Vegetable Oil
  • Topping
  • Almond Flakes
  • Dr. Oetker Nona Chocolate Chips
  • Almond Nibs
  • 50 ml Water
  • Nutty Brownies
  • 1 box Dr. Oetker Nona Brownies Original
  • 100ml vegetable oil
  • 50ml water
  • 2 eggs (large)
  • 100g Dr. Oetker Nona Almond Strips (roasted)
  • 200g Dr. Oetker Nona Cooking Chocolate (broken into pieces)
  • Fluffy Souffle Pancake
  • 1 box Dr. Oetker Nona Original Pancake Mix
  • 30ml vegetable oil
  • 300ml water
  • 1 egg (large)
  • 4 egg whites

Instructions

    Brownies Cookies
  1. Preheat oven to 160°C.
  2. Place Dr. Oetker Nona Brownies Original, eggs, vegetable oil and water in a mixing bowl, mix for 1 minute until well combined.
  3. Place the batter in the piping bag and pipe it on the silicone mat/baking paper. OR Scoop 1 tbsp of batter onto a silicone mat/baking paper.
  4. Sprinkles with almond nibs and bake for 20 minutes, set aside to cool.
  5. Nutty Brownies
  6. Preheat oven to 180˚C.
  7. Place Dr. Oetker Nona Brownies Original, vegetable oil, water and eggs in a mixing bowl, stir until well combined (with wooden spatula or hand whisk).
  8. Fold in almond strips before pouring batter in a greased rectangle baking tray. Bake at 180˚C for 55 minutes.
  9. Set brownies aside to cool completely before cutting into squares.
  10. Melt cooking chocolate with microwave oven or over a saucepan of water.
  11. Drizzle chocolate over the brownies.
  12. Fluffy Souffle Pancake
  13. Mix Dr. Oetker Nona Pancake Original with vegetable oil, water and egg, mix until well combined.
  14. Place egg whites in a separate bowl and mix at high speed until soft peaks form.
  15. Gently fold the egg whites into pancake batter.
  16. Use baking paper to make 7cm round ring (2cm height).
  17. Preheat a crepe pan and set to the lowest heat. Place the paper ring in the middle of the pan.
  18. Pour the batter into the ring then cover with a lid for 3-5 minutes. Flip the pancake gently and cook the other side for another 3-5 minutes.
