Recipe Ingredient
- 2 sachets tea bags (Lipton or Boh tea)
- 300ml boiling water
- 150ml apple juice
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 100ml basic syrup
- 300ml (1 small can) Coca Cola (chilled)
- Plenty of crushed ice
- Basic syrup:
- 100g castor sugar
- 100ml water
- 2 pandan leaves, knotted
- Garnishing:
- Lime rind strips
- Lemon rind strips
- Maraschino cherries
Instructions
- To prepare syrup: BRING water, sugar and pandan leaves to a quick boil to dissolve the sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes, then strain and set syrup aside for use later.
- To prepare the drinks: PUT tea bags in a jug and add hot water. Cover and allow to infuse for 10 minutes. Discard tea bags.
- Combine all ingredients, except Coca Cola, in a cocktail shaker. Shake well and chill in the refrigerator. Pour drinks into chilled goblets. Pour in Coca Cola slowly. Serve garnished when guests have arrived.
