Recipe Ingredient
- 1/2ripe organic banana (peeled)
- 150 ml filtered water
- 1 tablespoon organic roasted almonds
- 2 organic limes (squeeze for juice)
- 125 ml fruit-flavoured organic soy yoghurt
- 1 tablespoon organic wheat germ powder
- 4 slices ginger or 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
Instructions
- Mix well in a blender.
- Pour into glass and drink immediately.
- Recipe Notes: Lime juice gives this drink a nice zing and loads it with antioxidants. Almonds will contribute towards mental clarity and alertness while the friendly flora in the soy yoghurt will enhance your system's immunity, digestion and colon health. It is also very filling and can replace a meal.
