Hello can I use bread flour instead of whole meal flour for the date loaf …tks
Hi Ruby, it is possible but we would not recommend it as the result could be a bread that is denser as bread flour has higher protein content. Replacing whole meal flour with all purpose flour will also result in a fluffier bread. This is because different flours have different protein content.
You could also consider experimenting other bread recipes and replacing the fruit ingredient with dates if preferred: https://www.kuali.com/recipe/walnut-raisin-loaf/
