Recipe Ingredient

  • 1kg mangoes de seeded and diced
  • 250 grams salt
  • 150 grams chilli powder
  • 10 grams rye powder
  • ½ teaspoon haldi
  • 100 grams chilli garlic paste
  • Few seeds of Rye, jeera, methi ,kalonji and a pinch of hing
  • 100 ml freedom groundnut oil

Instructions

  1. Mix the diced mangoes and masala
  2. Add Ginger garlic paste and mix well
  3. Heat oil in a karhai
  4. Heat a little oil and add the seasonings
  5. Cool after the seasoning sputters
  6. Add the rest of the oil and seasoning to the masala mangoes.
  7. Mix well. Keep for a day
  8. A tangy tongue tickling thokku ready
