- 250g organic green peas
- 100g castor sugar
- 75ml canola oil
Instructions
- Fry the green peas in a nonstick saucepan without oil until cooked and fragrant. Remove and leave to cool completely. Put the green peas, in batches, in a food processor. Blend until it is fine and powder-like.
- Combine green pea powder and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add canola oil gradually and knead until a dough is formed. Once the dough binds well together, it is an indication that the dough is well blended and any excess oil should not be added.
- Take small portions of dough and press into a wooden mould. Knock out the biscuits and arrange on a lightly greased baking tray. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 10-12 minutes or until biscuits are firm and cooked through.
