- 125g unsalted butter
- 90g icing sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tssp vanilalla essencet
- Sift:
- 180g plain flour
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- Slivered almonds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 160°C. Grease baking trays lightly with corn oil. Beat butter, egg yolk, icing sugar and essence until creamy and light.
- Add in the plain and rice flour; mix. Take a small piece of dough and roll into a ball. Place on a greased tray about 3cm apart. Shape cookies or pipe the shapes according to your liking.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove on to a wire rack to cool completely before storing in airtight containers.
