Recipe Ingredient
- Sugar Syrup:
- 1 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 cups of water
- Liqueur
- 3 cups of sugar syrup
- 1/2 cup instant coffee
- 2 1/2 cups vodka
- 4 tsp vanilla essence
Instructions
- To make the Syrup: Put all the ingredients in a large sauce pan and bring it to a boil. Stirring it often. When it start boiling lower the heat and simmer for 3 minutes. Pour syrup into a glass container and let it cool to room temperature.
- To make the Liqueur: Stir into the sugar syrup 1/2 cup instant coffee until it dissolves.Pour into a screw top jar or bottle.Stir in 2 1/2 cup of vodka and 4 tsp of vanilla.Close jar and store in cool dark place for at least a week to mature- the longer , the better.
