Recipe Ingredient
- 500g Garoupa fish, season lightly with salt and pepper; dust lightly with tapioca flour
- 1 big onion, cubed
- (A):
- 50g green capsicum, cut into wedges
- 1 red chilli, seeded and cut into wedges
- 1 tomato, quartered
- 5 pieces canned pineapple cubes, cut into smaller pieces
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- Sauce ingredients:
- 4 tbsp tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 cup pineapple syrup (from the can)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp ikan bilis stock granules
- Garnishing:
- Spring onion
- Chilli strips
Instructions
- Deep fry fish in hot oil. Dish out, drain well and set aside.
- Heat wok with oil, saute chopped garlic and cubed big onions. Add in sauce ingredients and bring to a boil. Add in the rest of the ingredients and simmer for a while.
- Pour sauce over fish and garnish before serving.
