Recipe Ingredient

  • 3 chicken drumsticks
  • Seasoning:
  • 1 tbsp ginger juice
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 4 tbsp cornflour
  • 2 egg yolks, lightly beaten
  • 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • Dipping Sauce:
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Combine 1 1/2 tbsp Hoisin sauce with 1 tsp chilli sauce

Instructions

  1. Clean chicken drumsticks well. Cut a slit right through and open up the meat with a knife, pushing it down to the bone. Marinade with seasoning ingredients for three to four hours.
  2. Turn the chicken meat over to form a boxer´s stick. Roll over in cornflour, dip in egg yolk then coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil in wok. Deep-fry chicken until golden brown.
