Recipe Ingredient
- 6 chicken wings, wing tips discarded and chopped into bite-sized pieces.
- 4 dried Chinese mushrooms, soaked and shredded.
- Herbs
- 3 thick slices tong kwai
- 1 tsp kei chi
- 5g tong sum, cut into 2cm lengths.
- 2 red dates, halved.
- Seasoning (A)
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 3-4 tbsp water
- Sauce (B)
- 1 tbsp Premium oyster sauce
- 1 tsp light soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 3/4 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 4-5 tbsp fresh chicken stock
Instructions
- Rinse herbs thoroughly. Mix with seasoning (A) and steam for 10 minutes. Combine chicken, mushrooms and prepared herbal mixture together. Add in sauce (B) to mix.
- Place ingredients in a heat-proof dish and steam over rapidly boiling water for 30-35 minutes.
