Recipe Ingredient
- 10 chicken wings
- Sesame oil
- Marinade:
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp castor sugar
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Shao Hsing Hua Tiau wine
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
- 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp ginger juice
- Sauce ingredients:
- 1 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp H.P. sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp Shao Hsing Hua Tiau wine
- 100ml water
Instructions
- Clean and chop chicken wings into two. Cut off the end wing tip.
- Combine marinade ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add the chicken wings and toss until well combined. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator for several hours.
- Heat oil in a wok and deep-fry chicken wings till golden brown. Dish out and leave aside.
- Heat a little sesame oil and add sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil then add the pre-fried chicken wings. Allow to simmer until sauce is reduced and chicken wings are well coated with the sauce. Dish out and serve immediately.
