Recipe Ingredient
- 500g chicken fillet or thigh fillet
- Seasoning:
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 2 cloves garlic, pounded
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin (jintan putih)
- 1/2 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp ginger juice
- Enough corn flour
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- Cut chicken fillet into 3cm pieces. Combine all seasoning ingredients in a mixing bowl. Stir in chicken pieces and marinate for three to four hours or preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
- Toss chicken pieces in corn flour, shake off excess flour and deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown. Serve with dipping sauce.
