- 8 chicken drumsticks or chicken wings
- Marinade
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp ginger juice
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Flour mixture - (combined)
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 3 tbsp rice flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp Chinese five spice powder
Instructions
- Wash chicken pieces and pat dry with several pieces of paper kitchen towels. Season chicken with the marinade and leave in the refrigerator for several hours.
- Toss the marinated chicken in combined flour mixture and deep-fry in hot oil until cooked through and golden brown.
