Recipe Ingredient

  • Seasoning :
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Premium oyster sauce
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • Batter :
  • 170g plain flour
  • 40g cornflour
  • 1 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp finely ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp Five Spice powder
  • 1½ tbsp corn oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped spring onion
  • 1 tbsp chopped red chilies
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • 100ml or enough cold water

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with seasoning for an hour.
  2. Combine batter ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix into a smooth consistency. If batter is too thick, add a little more water.
  3. Coat fillet slices in batter and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain and serve the chicken pieces with chilli sauce.
