Recipe Ingredient
- Seasoning :
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Premium oyster sauce
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- Batter :
- 170g plain flour
- 40g cornflour
- 1 tbsp rice flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp finely ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp Five Spice powder
- 1½ tbsp corn oil
- 1 tbsp chopped spring onion
- 1 tbsp chopped red chilies
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
- 100ml or enough cold water
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with seasoning for an hour.
- Combine batter ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix into a smooth consistency. If batter is too thick, add a little more water.
- Coat fillet slices in batter and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain and serve the chicken pieces with chilli sauce.
