Recipe Ingredient
- I cup white fragrant rice (wash and drain)
- 1½ cup chicken broth
- 2 chicken whole leg (chopped)
- 1 stalk spring onion (dice)
- Chicken Marinate:
- 1 tbsp Angel Brand Light Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Angel Brand Oyster Sauce
- 1 tbsp ginger sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- pepper to taste
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp starch
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with marinating ingredients for half hour, set aside.
- Rinse rice and place into claypot together with chicken broth. Cover the lid and bring to boil while stirring regularly. Turn to low heat, continue to cook about 5 minutes until water is almost absorbed by the rice.
- Arrange chicken on top of rice and pour over sauce. Cover with lid. Continue to cook in high heat for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and simmer for another 10 minutes. Claypot Chicken Rice is ready to serve.
