Recipe Ingredient
- 500ml water
- 625g caster sugar
- 10 whole kumquats
- 10 mini mandarin oranges (with skin)
Instructions
- Bring water and sugar to a boil. Add kumquats and mandarin oranges. Simmer for 20 minutes. Leave to cool and keep the fruit in syrup for 12 hours. Bring the fruit in syrup to a boil and lower heat to simmer for 5 minutes. Leave to cool and set aside for 12 hours. Remove from the syrup and drain on a wire rack to remove excess sugar.
