- 1/2 pound butter, softened
- 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cups light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt 2
- 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 4 oz. chopped pecans
- 18 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, eggs, baking soda and salt in large mixing bowl.
- Combine the flour gradually (otherwise you'll have a big snowstorm in your kitchen!)
- Stir in pecans.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Take tablespoons of batter and drop onto ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated 375¢XF oven (350¢XF if you're using an electric oven) for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Check along the way because every oven is different! Let stand for 2 minutes and then remove to cool.
