Recipe Ingredient

  • Papaya salsa
  • 2 cups cubed ripe papaya
  • 1/2 small red pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander
  • 1 tsps MAGGI® Chilli Garlic Sauce
  • 2 tbsps lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry sauce
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2cm ginger
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsps butter
  • 2 tbsps fish curry powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 125ml thin coconut milk
  • 125ml NESTLÉ Ideal Evaporated Milk
  • 1 MAGGI® Ikan Bilis Stock Cube
  • 4 Norwegian salmon steaks
  • 3 tbsps lemon juice
  • 2 tbsps cream
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients for papaya salsa.
  2. Grind onion, garlic and ginger until you get a smooth paste.
  3. In a deep pan, heat oil and butter together. Fry ground ingredients until fragrant.
  4. Add curry powder and water. Bring to boil. Add coconut milk, NESTLÉ Ideal Evaporated Milk and MAGGI® Ikan Bilis Stock Cube.
  5. Cook on slow fire for about 3 minutes. Finally add salmon steaks. Cook for about 3-5 minutes. Finally add cream and salt.
  6. Remove fish from heat and serve with papaya salsa.
