Recipe Ingredient
- 250g beef fillet
- (A):
- 1 tbsp boiled water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp nampla (fish sauce)
- Dash of sesame oil
- Dash of ground black pepper
- A pinch of sugar
- Assorted vegetables
- 2 shallots, chopped
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh red chillies
- 1 tbsp chopped bird chillies (cilipadi)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint leaves
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- Garnishing:
- 2 to 3 lettuce leaves
- 1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Marinate beef with a little meat tenderiser and grill to medium rare. Slice beef into thin slices.
- Combine ingredients (A) in a mixing bowl. Add beef slices and mix. Toss in assorted vegetables, then remove onto serving plate lined with lettuce leaves. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
