Recipe Ingredient
- 3½ cups water
- ½ cup dried lavender flowers
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 10g agar-agar powder
- 1¼ cups sugar
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Remove from heat, stir in dried lavender flowers, and steep for 20 minutes. Then strain the mixture into a deep kettle or pot, discarding the flowers.
- Add the lemon juice and agar-agar powder, stirring continuously until powder is dissolved. Bring the mixture to a boil, then add sugar. Boil for two to four minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour into glasses and drop in segments of oranges or mandarin oranges. Chill for two to three hours and serve.
