Recipe Ingredient
- 450g castor sugar
- 2 litres water
- 225ml full cream UHT milk
- (A):
- 200g to 250g toasted groundnuts
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 450ml water
- Combine into a paste:
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tbsp rice flour
- 5 to 7 tbsp water
Instructions
- Put ingredients (A) in a liquidiser and blend until fine, then sieve. Bring water and sugar to a low simmering boil to dissolve sugar. Leave aside to cool.
- Combine groundnut mixture into the cooled syrup. Add in ingredients (B) and bring to a boil over a gentle heat. When it comes to a boil, turn off the fire and add the milk gradually. Stir well to mix, then dish out to serve hot.
