Recipe Ingredient
- 10 eggs
- 1 1/2 litres water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tsp vinegar
- Red edible colouring powder
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil then add in salt. Arrange eggs in a wire mesh basket and lower it into boiling water.
- Cover and continue to boil for 8 to 9 minutes or until eggs are boiled. Remove the basket.
- Combine water, colouring and vinegar in a large bowl. Dip in eggs one at a time into the coloured mixture. Roll it around to get the shell coated with the colour. Remove and set aside.
