Recipe Ingredient
- 400g fresh shitake mushrooms
- 50ml virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp minced sage
- 1 tbsp minced oregano
- 1 tbsp minced thyme
- 1 tbsp minced basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Remove and discard stems from the mushrooms. Lightly score the mushrooms with a sharp knife then brush both sides with olive oil.
- Combine all the herbs together and rub mushrooms lightly with the herb combination. Sprinkle over with salt and pepper.
- Grill the mushrooms over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the juices form in the caps and the mushrooms are tender. Remove and serve hot.
