KELANTAN Delights Subang Jaya has brought the Kelantanese Malay cuisine to another new level through its refined recipes and tasteful presentations.

Its business development manager Ashari Shuib said the restaurant was the right place to go if one craves for delectable halal Kelantanese food in a five-star dining experience.

“We serve delectable food originating from Kelantan in a fine environment where you can dine in a relaxing surrounding.

“Kelantanese Malay food is well known for its sweet taste but we have adjusted it on our menu to suit the general taste palate without compromising on its authenticity,” said Ashari.

He added that the restaurant grew its own vegetable and spices at a garden in Janda Baik, Pahang.

However, some hard-to-find ingredients are brought in from Kelantan.

Just name any popular Kelantanese Malay food, from nasi kerabu to nasi dagang and from ayam percik to nasi tumpang, the restaurant has it.

If you are looking for something unique, try Kelantan Delights’ Tom Yam Kelapa Muda. It is not your regular tom yam as it has slivers of young coconut flesh and coconut water served with a choice of prawns or chicken — a must-try for tom yam lovers.

Ikan Siakap Daun Kadok is another star of the menu. It is a seabass dish created by the masterminds behind Kelantan Delights and it will surely entice the taste buds with its secret ingredients and savoury flavour.

For dessert, try the Royal Plate that consists of popular east coast sweet kuih like jala emas, buah tanjung, kuih akok and tahi itik that are made from duck eggwhite, all on one plate.

The restaurant also sells popular Kelantanese breakfast menu in a stall concept on weekends, with cheaper prices than the lunch and dinner items.

Nasi Dagang, Nasi Tumpang, Laksam and other Kelantan favourites are sold on a bench or pangkin, to bring out traditional vibes — just like in Kelantan.

Kelantan Delights is having lunch promotions called Neighbour’s Monday, which offers a 20% discount every Monday to employees working at Empire Mall, Wisma Consplant and Subang Parade while Ladies Friday offers a 20% discount for ladies every Friday.
